AgenaRisk: Bayesian Network and Simulation Technology for Risk Analysis and Decision Support

AgenaRisk Pro Version 6.0 released to coincide with the publication of Fenton and Neil's new book.

We are pleased to announce the release of Version 6.0 of AgenaRisk - a powerful but intuitive tool for modelling, analysing and predicting risk using risk maps, otherwise known as Bayesian networks. Its simulation capabilities go beyond Monte Carlo methods. The new features in Version 6.0 include:

Versions for Mac and Linux (in addition to Windows).
A multivariate analysis tool.
A massively enhanced capability to incorporate numerical nodes and functions (based on new research on 'binary factorisation described here).
New tutorials and examples.
Plus numerous other improvements over Version 5.0.

The new book – Risk Assessment and Decision Analysis with Bayesian Networks - provides extensive support to anybody considering using AgenaRisk or wanting to find out generally how to use Bayesian Networks. Anybody buying the book can claim a licence-free version - AgenaRisk Lite 6.0.

If you are not already using AgenaRisk and want to evaluate the software you can download a copy of AgenaRisk Free - a free evaluation version with limited functionality. AgenaRisk Free will enable you to open and run any model.

Another change is that AgenaRisk is now sold on a subscription basis only. An annual subscription to AgenaRisk includes:

Free full version upgrades.
Free software maintenance updates including bug fixes or minor product enhancements
Free technical support via email.
Technical support for software installation, resolving software errors and assisting with software operation.
An unlimited number of incidents.
Guaranteed response time within three business days.

However, technical support is not for building models from scratch, model de-bugging or AgenaRisk training. These services may be obtained separately from Agena.
